Long Wave

Spanning nearly 330 feet in length and standing over 20 feet tall, Long Wave is a large-scale helical sculpture that explores motion, perspective, and repetition through a simple, continuous form. ​At night, light pulses along the spiral path in programmed rhythms. The result is a form that feels elemental and in motion—rooted in geometry, animated by light, and shaped by its environment. Inflatable sculpture created by Pneuhaus with lighting and animations by Smooth Technology.

Originally installed at Roger Williams Park in Providence, Rhode Island and later reinstalled in Scottsdale, Arizona for Canal Convergence.
