Childish Gambino’s legendary production team tapped us to help complete the futuristic, post-apocalyptic look for their “The New World 2024 Tour.” Our collaboration yielded a range of effects—from wearable, radio-controlled lighting on Gambino’s jacket & helmet to integrated LED displays spanning the truss. These effects connect the two stages at opposite ends of the arena.
As always, we relied on our custom wireless system to deliver flawless radio control in a venue buzzing with radio signals (and excitement). This show pushes the boundaries of cutting-edge technology, and we were thrilled to work alongside so many top-tier artists and technologists.

The technology for the show is truly next-level.
Glover took the back stage promptly at 9:15, emerging in a sort of space suit, complete with helmet, surrounded by curtains of lights; he looked like a member of Daft Punk in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.”
Last night’s Childish Gambino show featured an elaborate light show and a lot of shiny stage costumes.
Fans shared videos from the performance that showed Gambino playing songs from different parts of the arena, and showing off a futuristic light show.
